November/December CIS Library Challenges.
Congratulations to ALL!!!

The CIS Library Leaders visited House of Grace to share some holiday cheer. Students brought gifts, sang carols, and read 'Twas the Night Before Christmas.

The students at CIS connected virtually with Matthew Swanson and Robbi Behr, author and illustrator of Ben Yokoyama and the Cookie of Doom. Tickets were drawn and many students received a free Ben Yokoyama book. This visit created a lasting impression on our students, inspiring many of them to pursue creative endeavors and connect with the written word in new ways.

January CIS Library Challenges
Congratulations to ALL!!!

CIS Beta completed their annual service project at Bellingrath and Tanglewood. Students visited classrooms to read to a Christmas story. They delivered candy canes and crafts for each student to do.

5th Grade took a trip to the Myrtles in St. Francisville. Students were able to explore the house, the grounds, and the coffee shop.

Fourth grade students attended the Revolutionary War Living History Day at Audubon State Historic Site. Students visited stations and engaged in activities to learn about life during that time. We had a blast!

Third Grade enjoyed learning about the great state of Louisiana by visiting the State Capitol and exploring the Louisiana State Museum. Thank you to all of the parents and chaperones that made this trip a success.
