Our students are amazing!! Don’t forget that a prize will be given to the student in each grade with the most summer AR points. Come in on Tuesdays and Thursdays to check out our Summer Reading Program.
Our teachers spent the last two days participating in a training through Capturing Kids’ Hearts. This training focused on igniting academic excellence through heart-centered teaching and creating high performing teams.

CIS Summer Library Hours
Summer Reading Incentive
Today the CIS Library celebrated the students who completed the Million Word Challenge, 40 Book Challenge, and students who won Battle of the Books. They were celebrated with a Royal Readers Breakfast that included a waffle and yogurt bar. Four students completed all three challenges and were awarded a Kindle Fire from Horace Mann. We are so thankful to Winn-Dixie in Central for donating the items for our breakfast and Horace Mann for sponsoring our top readers. Way to go students!!
